A conversion, renovation and extension of a threshing barn in the setting of a listed building to create unique wedding accommodation. The roof, walls and floor of the barn were insulated and restored using a mix of traditional materials (lime) with modern vapour permeable materials to ensure the integrity of the property was retained, the modern extension sits to replace an existing concrete sectional structure but clad in timber to hide it within the forrest setting using locally sourced timber and reclaimed profiled sheet from the site.
