With a little modification inside to partitioning walls a smaller extension was all that was needed. Knowing it was going to be in brick to match the existing house we were very careful to make sure all dimensions were in full and half brick sizes creating a slightly larger wall cavity to fill with insulation, working closely with the engineer we were able to hide every piece of steel for a seamless transition between old and new.
